Lynda -- Agree about Memory's importance, and it's very close to my favorite in the series. . . but as sheer favorite-ness goes, mine is A Civil Campaign, because that's where all the work put in over the series (especially in Memory) gets paid off with t

Memory is my favorite in this series - Miles has been physically challenged his whole life, but in this book he has to acknowledge his mortality. It marks a change in both the character, giving Miles the kind of depth and maturity that only age or a brush

It's not a part of the series proper, but it's in the Vorkosiverse and it's included in the Baen omnibuses, so I included it here. Y'know, in case someone wanted to vote for it and couldn't. :)

I didn't think that Falling Free was a Vorkosigan series book (although in the same universe ??). I really enjoyed Falling Free. I was introduced to Bujold through Analog Mag - Several of these books/stories were serialized. Have to agree this is a gre
