I just could not finish this book, which is insanely rare for me. I despised the character of Skye, and not in that 'villian you love to hate" way but in that "I want to put this book through a shredder" way. "Faithie" was too much of an underdeveloped doormat to be a sympathetic main characer, and her relationship with Flynn was not enough to make up for it. A third of the way through I had to simply give up or risk ripping the book apart.

It was an okay read. I like a little more depth to the characters in books and this book was not deep at all. If you want a quick, entertaining, and light read, then this is a good book to read.

This is chick lit and not even really good chick lit. The story has a lot of promise, but gets muddled and confusing in the middle. By the time the ending came, I really didn't care much about the characters.
I couldn't stand the character Skye, the heroine's younger sister. Do women like that really exist? Completely brainless, acts like a 12 year old instead of the 20 something year old she is. She was such a cartoon character devoid of any believability. The heroine was also unlikable because she's so wishy washy. Just about the only redeeming character was Flynn, the old boyfriend.

Cute book about what happens when you travel back home after a long hiatus and re-meet your high school sweetheart. Great "what-if" moments.

I really enjoyed this second chance at romance story. I had a few quibbles over plot points or character reactions but overall it was a very entertaining romance with well-developed characters.

Chick lit but enjoyable. The heroine returns from Los Angeles to the small town in Minnesota where she grew up. She returns to help her pregnant younger sister but gets entangled in family matters there. Her first love and the boy she left abruptly behind when she went to L.A. reenters her life. Good ending, decent plot..this isn't War and Peace, but a fast easy read.
A very fun read. Could not put it down. :)
The witty prose of this book puts it a cut above the average romantic comedy.
This was a great and easy read. I loved it and couldn't put it down!
this is a great book!! lots of fun & a quick read!
cute, had it's moments
Very cute easy read! I read it all in one day! This is the 2nd book I have read by Beth Kendrick and I really like her writing style. Not too intense, but a fun read!
I absolutely loved this book. I found the characters fun and the dialog witty.
I read it in one sitting. It was absolutely one of those books I can't put down.
This was cute and enjoyable. Not your typical romance but very satisfying all the same.
i bought this as some easy, mindless summer beach reading and it was entertaining, good for a high school student. mild sexual references, an easy, quick read.
If you are from the Midwest don't miss this book. If you have ever frequented a snall town or back woods tavern in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, etc., read this book! Forget the romance angle, the dialogue and descriptions will catch you and you will find it difficult to put it down.
