I just could not finish this book, which is insanely rare for me. I despised the character of Skye, and not in that 'villian you love to hate" way but in that "I want to put this book through a shredder" way. "Faithie" was too much of an underdeveloped doormat to be a sympathetic main characer, and her relationship with Flynn was not enough to make up for it. A third of the way through I had to simply give up or risk ripping the book apart.

It was an okay read. I like a little more depth to the characters in books and this book was not deep at all. If you want a quick, entertaining, and light read, then this is a good book to read.

Cute book about what happens when you travel back home after a long hiatus and re-meet your high school sweetheart. Great "what-if" moments.

This is chick lit and not even really good chick lit. The story has a lot of promise, but gets muddled and confusing in the middle. By the time the ending came, I really didn't care much about the characters.
I couldn't stand the character Skye, the heroine's younger sister. Do women like that really exist? Completely brainless, acts like a 12 year old instead of the 20 something year old she is. She was such a cartoon character devoid of any believability. The heroine was also unlikable because she's so wishy washy. Just about the only redeeming character was Flynn, the old boyfriend.

I really enjoyed this second chance at romance story. I had a few quibbles over plot points or character reactions but overall it was a very entertaining romance with well-developed characters.
