The best first novel, I have ever read. Anna Salter takes us into the disturbing world of forensie psychologist Michael Stone with just the right amount of wit and humanity. Don't miss this memorable debut

Forensic psychologist, Michael Stone is an expert in analyzing and outsmarting the criminal mind. She knows that some deviants cannot be rehabilitated. And now, one of them, a previously convicted pedophile, is stalking her.

Dr. Michael Stone (why do the women in these books always have male names?)is a psychiatrist who specializes in child abuse cases. A particularly nasty guy she has interviewed in prison is now out and after her.
The premise is good, as are the characters. The book kept my attention, and Stone is a strong, likable character.
