Great family story for kids, parents, or families to share. This book and its sequels would be excellent material for a christian book club for pre-teen and teen girls as well as women of all ages.

This book is a gentle reader that could easily be used for middle school and older girls. I found the language a bit simplistic, but the story line was good. I have enjoyed reading it for a relaxing bedtime book.

This story was very heart warming. The Author's did a great job in showing this young girls sorrows and joys. What an adventure she had with all the good people that helped them and the evil ones who were out to get them. I have started on the next one. Wonderful California.
