A true story of finding faith, friendship and family through the influence of a surpassingly wise Benedictine monk, Father Joe, who believed that God was in everyone and that the only sin was selfishness.
I loved this book, but I'm disturbed about his daughter's allegations of abuse, which didn't surface until after FATHER JOE was published.
This is a memoir about a young man who life is shaped by a unique man of the clothe. They are Irish.
Deeply touching. The author discovers his spiritual side through the inspiration of Father Joe.
Book was a nice read. I read it close to Fathers Day, and it definitely made one think about Fathers. It was very entertaining to read about Tony Hendra's life. I liked the book, but I didn't love it.
"A runaway New York Times bestseller", this is a funny and enlightening good read.
