It was enjoyable satire, and sadly I'm just enough of a history wonk to get a lot of the then contemporary jokes. Anyway, it wasn't a shout from the rooftops type book, BUT it was good. The closest thing to a flaw was the way you could 'hear' the author sharpening the hatchet before he hit.
