Really great story! A good and fast read. This is the first book of Iris Johansen that I've read and am looking forward to reading more. The subtext of the issue of contemporary slavery is treated with honesty and reality.

I've loved all of Iris Johansen's books. I like the way she entertwines familiar characters throughout each book. Fans and new readers of her work will both enjoy this immensely.

I usually love Iris Johansen's suspense books, but I couldn't get into this one. There seems to be alot of random characters and I wasn't sure how most of them related to each other. The hero and heroine seemed to be searching for something call "marinth". I gave up after 70 pages, so I'm not sure if that is a person, a place, or a who knows what.

Taunt thriller takes place in the Carribean. Wonderful story for those who love the tropical ocean and the creatures who dwell in it.
