i went to australia my junior year of college and before going, my friend suggested this book to me. I didn\'t get through the whole thing (it\'s a HUGE book) but it was great to be able to read up on bits and pieces of australian history. If i was more of a history buff i\'d love this book!

Excellent book, seems thorough and probably accurate. Not an easy read because the English were as hard or harder on Aussies as they have been on all colonials, but I'm glad I read it.
