It looked like an easy win for the Washington Federals baseball team. But an error by Centerfielder Willie Vasquez ends their hopes for a world series win. The fans start to riot and Lt. Sam Holland has her hands full trying to restore the peace. When the dust settles, Willie Vasquez's body is found in the trash. Now Sam and her team must sort through the many suspects to discover who killed Willie.
This is another solid mystery in Marie Force's Fatal series. There are a number of suspects to choose from. I took a guess and happened to get the villain right. Along with Sam trying to find the bad guy, we have her husband, Nick, campaigning for re-election. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
