Great book! Love the series!

This book was way too corny for me. Sorry, it just wasn't that tough girl kicking butt story that it's made out to be. It reads like someone who is trying to be tough but has never lived the life or even been close to the life. So it ends up missing the mark... by quite a bit. I liked the plot though. It was just the dialogue that had me rolling my eyes.

It's been years since the members of the Sisterhood first banded together, with the help of their mentor Charles Martin, to exact their own form of justice on those whose crimes had gone unpunished by the legal system. Now, back in the U S after an enforced exile, and ensconced in a new home on Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina, Myra, Kathryn, Annie, Alexis, Isabelle, Yoko, and Nikki are breathing easy at last - but not for long. One dark night, under cover of a vicious storm, a helicopter lands on their mountain. The Sisters aren't about to wait to be ambushed. Braving the storm, they set out to greet their guests, only to be told by Charles that the mysterious visitors are the Sisterhood's new employers, and they've got a dangerous new assignment in mind. The task they face is daunting. If they succeed, the Sisterhood will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. If they fail, they'll forfeit much more than a paycheck. But if the Ladies of Pinewood have learned one thing over the course of their adventures, it's that when friends band together, miracles can happen...

Definitely not the best book in the series. Very slow building and very anticlimactic. I was disappointed.

Another exciting edition of the "Sisterhood." This episode was enjoyable and had a few new twists and turns. An easy 3.5 hour read.

In the ninth installment of the "New York Times"-bestselling Sisterhood series, the women are now back in the United States, ensconced in a home in the North Carolina mountains. The landing of a helicopter brings the Sisterhood its most daunting--and rewarding--mission yet.

Good book, follows the same format as the rest of the series. I found it to be a good easy read.

-----Another chapter in the book of the Sisterhood, and a bit of a romp, too----

Vigilantism will never be the same! These ladies seem to think that revenge is a dish best served with cloth napkins and floral centerpieces.

This is the most exciting and closest the girls have come to being caught big time.
They are approached on Big Pine Mountain by a group of people willing to fill in a blank check for there services nothing like that has ever been offered to the girls before but again this involves a very dangerous mission The World Bank.
With rats and not the political ones but vermin ones Washington gets thrown upside down and all due to rumors that are untrue
but the girls succeed in the most dangerous mission and many parts of it they have to figure out on there own due to problems with weather and where Charles is, this is by far the best of the series and you wont be able to put it down.
