Elizabeth Bevarly writes a cute, engaging story about Lulu a sort of social phobic and closet "lover of life." She rents her Louisville house during the derby to Cole Early, trainer extraordinaire. Cole is a player in every sense of the word, but when he meets earthy, artistic, Lulu his real personality come out. Not one of my favorite Bevarly books, but an enjoyable, quick read just the same.

Good book; interesting characters; duel romance; very good writing; feels like you're there with the characters, not just reading a book.
