This was a good read, I really enjoyed the book. There are two sisters who are very different. When their father dies, they inherit a house in North Carolina and their mother does not want them to go there. I remember the characters well even though I read the book last winter.

This was a good read - a tale of 2 sisters, a mother and grandaughter told against the canvas of 1950's south to the present day. Mom has a secret in her past, one daughter is the upright wife of a Dr, the other a struggling actress in NYC. Great chic lit!
