Welcome Back James Patterson! Granted in this book we still put out our views about the world today, (this book he focuses on stem cell research) but at least this time it isn't like his past few books where that is all we focus about is global warming etc instead of the story. And what a story! We have finally started to go back to the first Maximum Ride books that the fans have loved so much. Action packed, and this one...well...I can't even start to spoil it. But I will say, it's one heck of a roller coaster ride that had me going oh no he didn't, to OMG YES!, to NOOOOOO!!!!!!. So you're in for a treat loyal fans, because it's finally coming back to the style we all knew and loved.

This was an awesome read, but this was sad. I felt just as tore up for Fang and Max as I was for Bella and Edward in Twilight. Not to say that the book is exactly like Twilight, but just showing on an emotional level it rank up there with Bella's reactions. I won't give away the details. It was a joy to read even so.

The continuation of the bird Kids saga is as gripping as ever. As far as I know, this is the last of the series, but it certainly leaves the door open for another book..Fang leaves the flock and you know he cannot stay away forever, but this is how this book ends. the author has left us screaming for another in the series. Mr. Patterson?
There is still no inappropriate love making - just kissing- so nervous Moms can let their kids read it.
The Reading Grandma (me)approves this book.

I am so excited about this book! I love the series and was glad James Patterson continued it with Fang.

The story is exciting, has its good and bad times- I actually cried a bit in this one. I once again, got completely involved in the characters. I love how they aren't all perfect and how Angel has a bit of that bad girl in her. You're always kept guessing about who's side she's really on.

Max and Fang are my two favorite characters in the series, so I was glad this focused on them. And really sad with the ending. Glad Fang didn't die (I would've stopped reading the series) but sad that he moved on. Though I think in order for the story to evolve that's what had to happen.

Looking forward to seeing where the whole Dylan character goes. I wasn't sure I was going to like an addition, but I do. I just wish they would kill off Jeb!!!

I absolutely love this series. The bird gang is awesome - Max, Fang, Nudge, Gazzy, Iggy and even Angel, the traitor. The newest addition, Dylan, takes some getting used to. He's too sweet, too gorgeous, just too perfect to be real. Something must be up.

Different adventures but as usual, the gang is in trouble and running from evil scientists. Even though the stories have a similar theme, they are all unique and different. The cliff hanger brought tears to my eyes. OMG what more can Patterson do to these sweet kids?

Another installment of the "bird kids". This one is more personal with things going on between them. After this, I see there will be two more books in the series and that will be it. I have read them all and have enjoyed them.
