My 4 year old loves Fancy Nancy. Like most in the 1-level I Can Read series, this is great for building a vocabulary of "fancy" words. Now, if I can only get her to stop claiming that she has poison ivy every time she has the slightest itch!

I really enjoyed reading all of Fancy Nancy books with my daughter because the story is educational and instructional and help children learn bigger vocabulary words (some I didn't know:-( to use in sentences, e.g. "Nancy flits through the pages elegantly wearing her boa, which is fancy for scarf, weeps over the fiasco (fancy for disaster)." Awesome!
