This review relates to the audio version, but I really think the book version would be a very good read.
I have to say that is author's book was a masterpiece. So well written, so deep, and so well constructed. If this kind of book is your thing you wont be disappointed. There are many parts about sex, that really fit the story, as the kids are trying to figure how stuff about life, that might offend some readers. For instance my mother would not read something like this. I would, but have to admit that right the beginning, it was mildly uncomfortable that the two young girls are looking up stuff in the dictionary trying to figure out Missionary position. The dictionary was not much help as you can guess. But who didnt look up those words when we were kids? I also loved the unfolding of the story and how the reality of what happened changed as the characters look backwards and forwards. Very well done.
