Do you ever smile when you finish a book? You will with this one. You fall so deeply in love with Riley and Gracie that you get sucked into the book and start hating all the people that are rotten to them so much, that you're tempted to chuck the book at the nearest wall. But as things get better, you can't help but sigh out a little "yay!" under your breath.
I really enjoyed this book. Good characters and some hot sex, but plenty of story, too. Gracie has a teenage crush on Riley and now has come back to her home town and has to face up to all the silly things she did as a teen. Riley, who had no interest in the silly teenager is now entranced by the woman she's become. Cute.

Susan Mallery continues to be one of my new, favorite authors. This is the story of Gracie and Riley. They have a past together, and when Gracie comes back to town to help with the wedding of her younger sister, and Riley moves back to fulfill requirements in order to receive a substantial inheritance, their past catches up with them. Sparks fly and the fun begins again in this quirky romance!

Great Book - Wonderful alpha male - a sweetie for a heroine - and Susan does a great job with the story. Romantic and entertaining ! !
This was a really fun read. I could not put it down and read it in just an afternoon/evening. Susan Mallery has a way of making you really genuinely like the characters. I really wanted some cake after reading this, too...

I really liked this books. It's funny and a great read but the suspense is predictable. You know who's behind all the things going wrong

Another great Susan Mallery book. I LOVED it! I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the characters and the plot! I couldn't wait to see how everything tied all together at the end. GREAT READ!!

This was an ok read. It's so predictable. The heroine is a dishrag. She is a doormat. She needed to stand up to her family because they basically walked all over her. I can't root for heroines who are incapable like that. The hero has moments where you find it hard to root for him. I honestly didn't understand why he would want to be involved with her given some of the strange, even disturbing, things she did to gain his attention in high school. The things she did to gain his attention back in high school went far beyond pranks. I didn't find their relationship as adults believable or all that likable. Not one of Susan Mallery's best efforts.

This was a very good book...I didn't want to put it down.
I'm new to this author but I will definetly try more of her books. This one was really good. I stayed up all night to read it.
Good story as always with Mallery. Laughs plus romance.
What a GREAT book, once again Susan Mallery at her finest! "Falling for Gracie" has lots of humor, romance and even some mystery - just the perfect combination to hold your attention and make you love the characters. A GREAT READ!
Love this story! Another great read - found it hard to put this one down.
it was cute & fun.
Falling for Gracie is a great read. Susan Mallery is fast becoming a favorite of mine.
I enjoyed the book very much. The author is funny and the characters have a good banter. The book makes living in a small town like Los Lobos very attractive, with the quirkiness of the town. Similar to another review, I did find the relationship with the sisters and mother to be a little hard to believe at the end, with their quick turnaround. However, this is escapist reading, so I'll take the happy ending.
Another great book of hers! Cute and quick read!
Great Story!
There's a lot to enjoy in this book. Unfortunately there's also things that made me nuts. I hated Gracie's family. Her mother and her sisters were all about "me, me, me" through the first half of the book. I wanted Gracie to tell them all to go to hell. Then about half way through the mother has an unexplained, completely unmotivated and unconvincing Epiphany and suddenly everything is wonderful again. I so didn't buy it. Then at the climax of the book, *spoiler alert* Riley's ex-wife just happens to leave her front door ajar so Gracie can conveniently get the goods on her without breaking any laws. Yeah. That's a cheap cop-out caused by poor plotting. And all this from a widely published romance author. And people wonder why romance gets no respect. It's not a mystery to me.
Cute book. It was different and more exciting than many romance novels I have recently read.
I loved this book. First I've read by this author.
Truly a fabulous love story - fun, sweet, sexy, family upsets, high school memories - all combine to make a story second to none.
good book
I just finished the first book "Someone Like You" & this book is the sequel, which you really need to read together. The same characters continue from one book to the next. I just discovered Susan Mallery & can't wait to read more of her books.
Great!
I really enjoy this author but this wasn't my favorite Susan Mallery book. I prefer and highly recommend her series books and I am looking forward to the Lone Star Sisters series due out in May.
very cute!
First comes love, then comes marriage, but it's not as easy as it looks...
At the age of fourteen she was in love with a nineteen year old and went out of her way to show it. She was so desperate that her acts made her a town legend the whole town was talking and still at an older age won't let her forget. Then he moves back to town and she tries her best to stay away from him but someone sets out to ruin that plan.
Gracie was sent away from her family after her teenage stalking of Riley upset the families and her town. Years later, a sucessful wedding cake baker, she returns for her sister's wedding and, as it turns out, a date with destiny--Riley, all grown up. As is the usual case with this author, an enjoyable book.
First comes love, then comes marriage or that was Gracie's plan, anyway, at the ripe old age of fourteen. She loved eighteen-year-old heartthrob Riley with a desperation that made her a town legend. Even now that she's all grown up, the locals in sleepy Los Lobos won't let her forget her youthful crush.

Even now that she's all grown up, the locals in sleepy Los Lobos won't let her forget her youthful crush........And how can she, when she's face-to-face with Riley at every turn? Gracie's determined to keep her distance, but when someone sets out to ruin both their reputations, the two discover that first love is sometimes better the second time around........;
I have not read this book-got it in a box of books at a yard sale.
