Disappointing. Too much in this book wasn't explained, and the "ending" seemed like the author got tired of writing the book and just ended it without writing the 2 or so chapters necessary for a better resolution.

I am not sure which books where written first, but I had read "Dusk" and "Dawn" first. I must admit I missed that part of Noreela. The Divide was so different and I missed the Monks, and the fledge by god! Read Dusk and Dawn then read this. 3/4 of the way it gets a little boring but then it picks up. I can't wait to read other Noreela books, it is a hard world to get into but once you are in you just get sucked in.

Good characters, unexpected twists. A very good read!

This is the first book by Tim Lebbon I've read. But if the others are like this one, I won't be reading them. The story has many twists and turns, but I found it very hard to keep reading it. In fact, during the time I was reading it, I took a break from it and read two others! I finally finished it, only because I bought it new! Not the kind of fantasy I enjoy. Others may like it tho, so take my review with a grain of salt, folks.
