Compelling, but slow to get to the big secret and lots of questions are intentionally left unanswered. I probably would not have picked it up if I had known about the reincarnation theme - just not my cup of tea. I'm also concerned that readers/listeners not familiar with Christianity will now believe that baptism allows reincarnation. Baptism is a sacrament to join the church, not a gateway to another human life! I realize this is fiction, but why misinform like this when you are able to create your whole own world?
