This was the first science fiction book I ever read and it really got me hooked on the possibilities of our future. A failed attempt to prevent global warming has created a man-made ice age!
One minute the two Space Hab astronauts were scoop-diving the atmosphere, the next they'd been shot down over the North Dakota Glacier and were teh object of a massive manhunt by the United States government.
I liked the book played out the plot.
