I said "Wow!" out loud, literally, when I got to the last page of this book. Throughout, the writing is delicate and sly, but about three-quarters of the way to the end, the plot takes a series of startling twists and turns up until the surprising ending. Very well done indeed.
Tense and promising, but didn't deliver.
