The three titles in this trilogy include FAIRYTALE, THE EMPEROR'S REALM, and THE THREE CROWNS.

In the first story, we meet Marianne, who feels out of place at her home. Her "parents" are evil, and treat Marianne like she doesn't matter. When she learns that she is going to be forced into marriage, she is determined to get away.

The rest of the book goes on through adventures Marianne and her long-lost brother, Robin, encounter on their travels. They meet interesting people and fairies along the way. They will learn about their parents, and discover who they really are.

The stories were really enchanting. Though it isn't the kind of book I normally read (since it is directed towards the younger crowd), it kept me hooked. There was always something going on. In the last section, I was the most engaged, because everything was falling into place for the characters, and then something happened and it's like a new story was beginning. It was really fun and entertaining.

This would be great for a younger crowd of girls who are interested in fairy tales.
