Loved this book. Had wonderful ideas on making lamps over, using vintage hankerchiefs in inventive ways, fixing up old trunks, making old suitcases (and not the really funky old ones, but those vinyl ones no one wants) into really cool suitcases for storage, holiday ideas with old stuff. kids decorating, etc. The instructions are very clear. This is a very good book because it deals with stuff that everyday people find (not the stuff that Martha Stewart types find!)and does creative, but not too complicated, things with that stuff.

Nice book that has a lot of great ideas for crafting useful items out of everyday items such as china cups, buttons, handkerchiefs, old luggage, and many other items found around the house.

I was a bit disappointed with this book. Sure it's purpose was to give you ideas with how to turn your junk into treasure, but the way I saw it, they turned a lot of treasure into tacky pieces of junk. I hate giving bad reviews, and I seldom do, but this book should not have the name "Fabulous" in front of it and put "Gaudy" instead.
