The recipes are beautiful. I took the book with me when we went to our island house (ocean) and wowed my family all summer with scratch French meals. I'm giving up this copy so that someone else can enjoy it; I have a duplicate (gift).

Easy and delicious. Ingredient substitutions can be made. An adept cook with confidence can make these recipes.

And, of course, this book is free!!

I would welcome discussions of serious cooking with other pbs members.
