Turned out to be a pretty good book, I'll try more by King.

Jonathon King was a new author for me, but I liked this book and will be looking for more by him. The story kept my interest all the way through. This particular audio book was an abridgement but I will not hesitate to get either a print book or an unabridged version of his work because I think his characters were believable and the story was interesting. A sniper is targeting criminals that he thinks did not pay for their crimes and he is using the newspaper articles written by a crime reporter, who is the central figure of the story, to select his victims.

Engrossing tale of a crime reporter and single father whose life is on the line when he realizes that the victim of a fatal shooting is the convicted murderer he had written about years before. It is now a cat-and-mouse game among the authorities, the criminals, and Nick, the reporter. Story is hard to put down.
