This is a fast paced thriller right from the start. It has suspence, danger, CIA, special ops and some romance. I couldn't put it down.

Simone Cooper Sheridan is a hell of a main character, suburban housewife with a Super secret past. Happy reading

I really enjoyed this one from Dee Davis. It grabbed me from the beginning and every time I HAD to put it down I left saying "this is a great story". I have read Dee's trilogy Endgame, Enigma and Exposure and enjoyed those as well but this had more suspense and a keener edge to the mystery. Simply felt as if it was better written, and while it still had a few "ok only in a novel could you pull that off" moments they didn't break the rhythm of the story. I would recommend this to anyone who likes good suspense with a touch of romance.
First Dee Davis book for me. I'll give her another try. The characters were good, but the story was a stretch.
Simone Cooper Sheridan is living a quiet life. In the midst of a divorce she is visited by her brother-in-law Martin. Suddenly, bullets are flying and Simone, Martin and ex-husband Reece are on the run for their lives. Reece soon discovers that Simone is ex-CIA. Good romantic suspense- I enjoyed Simone and Reece rediscovery of their relationship.
I really enjoyed this mystery & romance. It kept my attention and I wanted to stay up all night to read it but unfortunately work beckoned so I had to finish it the next night.
Read half the book and couldn't "get into it". So I'm going to post it.
Simone Sheridan has been avoiding the divorce papers on her kitchen table, but almost simultaneous surprise visits from her brother-in-law, Martin, and a dangerous colleague from her secret past life with the CIA black ops force her on the run, with her family in tow. It seems that somebody is tracking down the now-dispersed D9 group and killing its members.^B In the process of running all over the country while trying to figure out what is going on, Simone finally has to level with her husband, Reece, about her past, and he has to contend with the new, cautious etiquette of planning for a future with someone he still loves but who has signed divorce papers. Amid the nonstop action, which includes chapters set in Nicaragua, where Isabella Ramirez tries to avenge her father's death and reestablish power in his name, Reece and Simone finally come to know each other and recommit. The ending is as inevitable as surprising in this one-sitting read. Mary K. Chelton

Romantic Suspense. Their marriage couldn't survive her past. Now her secrets have caught them in a race against the clock and he refuses to leave her side.
It was time to destroy the ghosts of her past..before they destroyed her.
edge of my seat..
suspence, romantic, female secret CIA,hidden past, disguising true identity, come face to face with previous life
Good suspense story about a secret female CIA operative and her unsuspecting husband.
Romance & mystery--what more could you ask for?!
Have never read Dee Davis before. Was pleasantly surprised. Want to read more. Exciting page turner. Really descriptive writer.
Do you ever read book and have trouble putting it down? For Civil War buffs this is it. While RK Snedon rambles on a bit at times, there can be no better insight into the maelstrom that was the Civil War. The drawings are fascinating as is the courage and positive attitude of an individual faced with obscene circumstances.
