This is a wonderful book. It is the second of three in the "kinship and courage" series. Here Mazy learns she can stand on her own without the man she loves; Suzanne, though blind, realizes she truly needs others and can be her own person . Ruth solves her problems of Jessie's paternity and her angst about whether she can be a good mother. Tipton marries after the death of her beloved Tyrelle and discovers her mother's love and loyalty only extends to her brother.
You won't be able to put it down.

Kirkpatrick tells a good yarn
Christian fiction about a group of women who survive much tragedy before they reach California
Wonderful book - a great writer!
This is a continuation of the series about a group of widows trying to get to California on the Oregon Trail. It is an interesting and engaging book. The climax is very good- a real page turner you won't want to put down.
The third in the kinship & courage series from Jane Kirkpatrick. The wagon train started it all, this book ties up many lose ends, although this group of characters don't seem settled yet, another book to follow?

This is a wonderful story of women who have lost thier men from a cholera outbreak as they wend their way across the US to get to California. It takes place in the 1850s & as we meet these women, we learn about their hardships, their frustrations & how God molds & changes them to be what He would have them be. This is a good book for anyone who finds change difficult or finds life difficult.
haven't read a Kirkpatrick book I didn't enjoy....
