FANTASTIC!!! I could not put this book down. I am a HUGE Ozzy fan and I knew from stories over the years how Sharon had a rough life both in childhood and in marriage. But I did not realize to what extent the horrors were that this incredible women had to live through. There are few in this world who could go through what she has experienced and come out a strong, beautiful, and more powerful woman. I've always admired Sharon but for all the wrong reasons (like being married to Ozzy and being filthy rich), but now I actually see her as a role model and someone who I could only aspire to be like. What an amazing story!!! If you haven't read it you need to. Even if you have no idea who she is, or your not a fan of her husband. If you are a woman you NEED to read this book, it will make you feel so confident and realize that you really can conquer all! After I was done reading I suddenly have a new level of self esteem and confidence in myself.

I read Ozzie Osbourne's autobiography before reading Sharon's; I wanted to know more about the woman behind Ozzie's success. Sharon did not have an idyllic childhood, but she took the negatives and forged ahead to become a successful music manager and TV personality. Sharon lives her life for her family, and does not change her ways to please those in the music or TV industry. I think Ozzie's book was more tame than Sharon's. She portrays the dark side of both of them without dwelling so much on the past. I find her writing to be forthright and engaging. I have her next autobiography on my wish list and look forward to reading it.

Its Sharon Osbourne so expect lots of cursing and some wild stories about life on the road, including dirt on other musicians. But her love for her family does come through.
