Sci-Fi erotic romance from Ellora's Cave. Jaclyn "Jac" Ward heads to the jungle in this sequel to "The Arrival" to rescue her friend Rachel. Jac is tough, and was trained by her Navy SEAL father to defend herself. But she meets her match in the Atlantean Warrior Ares, who wants her for his mate. But, another warrior has his eyes on Jac, too. And, the ambitious, unscrupulous Dr. Rumsinger is still looking for the Atlantean tribe. Lots of hot sex scenes, action and an unbelievable plot. This book is fair. There is a third book in the series.

Not as good as the first one. The book revolves about imature woman and her owerwhelming 'mate'. The Profesor shows up 2 and only as an afterthought. The duel/chalange for the right to mate the woman is poorly done, she never learns that if her mate looses he dies or is banished. She never devalopes guilt for bating the other warrior to punish her mate for being arogant. The big finish is not there as they all leave to Atlantis leaving the priestes behind to look for the banished warrior. Ok read but not a keeper. 3 Stars
