Let me preface this review with a disclaimer: I traditionally identify politically as a Libertarian. I tend to be very conservative in certain areas (fiscal and policy) and very liberal in others (personal liberties). Amy Goodman has a reputation (right/wrong/otherwise) of being a radical leftist. So, I'm not exactly in Amy Goodman's target market for people who would usually be receptive to hearing what she has to say.

This being said, I must say that I did enjoy this book. While I don't agree with all of Goodman's positions, I believe she does make an excellent argument in laying clear the ties between the people running the show (politicians) and those pulling the strings ($$$), specifically in regard to decisions pertaining to war.

A very important book, even if you're not a lefty so to speak. Definitely eye-opening. Well-written. Highly recommended.
