I really love this series. It was written before there was all this vampire fascination. It is a well thought out book. Even though the book is labeled YA it deals with concepts in philosophy such as duality, reincarnation and paradigm. I do not know many teens into that at the moment. I really did enjoy it.
When I was younger, Christopher Pike was one of my favorite authors. The Last vampire series is terrific, although sometimes difficult to understand for the age group that the book was written for. I definitely reccomend this book
