The recipes are good (not great) and simple. Pretty basic ingredients, this was a gift & I can definitely say that I would NOT have spent the $$$ to have this book on my shelf. Giada is a beautiful girl but I personally would rather have pictures of the finished product or even examples of techniques than various stages of her cleavage. Food Network has opened quite a few doors but they need to be careful of the ones they are closing...

I have this book and every recipe in this book as well her other books are on the food network website. All you get with this book are picture and no new recipes
