We have the further adventures of antiquities dealer Lara in this book. Here she has been hired by a mysterious billionaire to buy an Etruscan sculpture. The owner is soon dead but is it an accident or murder? Another piece of Etruscan art disappears and suddenly shows up in Lara's car. More deaths and mystery ensue. There is a larger cast of characters than usual and the mystery holds right up to the final pages. Obviously Ms. Hamilton has matured as a writer of this series and the stories are becoming more complex and yet retain the charm that began with the first book. A keeper.

Like all of the books in this series, you not only get a great mystery/adventure, but you get to travel the world - not only physically but intelluctually. A page turner, too,.
