This book definitely requires some prior knowledge of the Kabbalah... Less tales than parables- worth a try if you'd like to learn more about what Kabbalah is all about, and gets easier to understand but to get the full experience of this book one should already know about the Ari, a basic understanding of Talmud, and an avid interest in studying the Torah teachings.
