Et Cetera is one part Wild West and one part Pokemon, with a bit of Fruits Basket thrown in for good measure. The series follows the adventures of the young Chinese immigrant Mingchao and her unique Zodiac gun, which fires bullets thematic with the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

Silly manga version of a Wild West buddy story, with a wacky main character, Mingchao, traveling on the road to Hollywood with a self-styled priest (Baskerville) and a zany and unique gun (Eto gun) inherited from her grandfather and the adventures they share along the way. The author explains it best:

"This here manga is a work of fiction, so don't waste yer time writing us about how Hollywood didn't exist until well after the west was won. It's called suspending your disbelief, and you better get used to it 'afore you start reading these yarns. And don't go checking the Sears catalog for an Eto gun. They ain't real neither!"
