This book has had a lasting effect on me from my childhood, teenage and adult stages, that I widh this was something that would be put on a teacher's best books to read for her stufents, and then go home and read it for herself.
You cannot outrun this book; meaning, there is care, concern, and character that abides in every word, every page. I have used this book for inspiration, strength in time of need, and valor to overcome insecurity. The essays each have their own tale to tell, but all intertwine to make perfect sence of an imperfect world. I recommend this as a must-read.
