This book had a few bits of new to me information, but nothing really ground breaking. I feel this book would be best for someone who is reading about North Korea for the very first time and wants a glossed over account of how North Koreans are treated by their own government. Two things really bothered me about this book. One was how the author made it sound like Christians are the only people willing to help North Koreans. The other was the fact that I was under the impression that this book was about the North Koreans who had used the Underground Railroad as a means of escape. I was expecting to read how the UR had helped them leave North Korea and reach their safe havens. To be fair, there were a few in there. However, 90% of the stories are about the (Christian) conductors. While they play an important part, and do deserve to have their stories told, their stories weren't what I was looking for. I don't think I'll read anything by this author again
