Okay--I admit it--I was wrong...
The first book of this series (Memory Never Forgets) stumbled along a bit and while it was quite likeable, it wasn't a "sit on the edge of your seat" for me.
This volume was--knew I didn't like certain characters and didn't necessarily trust others, but boy, did the ending ever surprise me!
And Carla and Dr. Day are certainly an interesting family. I also appreciate the realism involved with the Alzheimer's and Carla's continuing struggle to deal with her father's decline.
