Epitaph for a peach is a beautiful accounting of farming fruit in Northern California. It is a meditation of the challenges and rewards of a farmer, especially a farmer that cares about taste and quality. Masumoto is a great speaker - inspiring, thoughtful and as a small food farmer must be, practical.

Engaging. His words inspire images in my mind of what his orchards must look like and the taste of the perfect peach!
Good book on family farming, the immigrant experience, etc.
