This book definitely explores the theme of enslavement. There are so many ways a person can be enslaved whether to another person, a family, a husband, a past, through bondage or mind control. I thought this was a fascinating simple story yet all the aspects of enslavement rather complex. My first book by this author, but I will look for more. This has light bdsm, bondage, threesome, and f/f. The sex is really hot, but for once I thought the characters better.

The book and the author took me by surprise. It was a short and to the point book. I like that there was no prolonging anything. At by that, I mean it does not take 3/4 of the book for any of the main characters to realize they are in love. The sex is hot and the bondage is not too much but just right. It's my first book from this author and it will not be my last. It focused on Nadia and Dominic but also gave us a glimpse of Jelena who is an interesting character. It touched on a taboo subject on how fathers can and will sell their daughters for profit and how these daughters found their own voice and were able to live their own life.
