a what if invasion of south korea by the north, a sequel to armored corps, the first book in the series. as is the usual with this type of book, it is full of archetypes, but still a relatively good read. ignoring, of course, the politics . . .
See my review of book one in the trilogy "Armored Core". You need to read them in order. This and the third book "Attack by Fire" are MUST reads if you've read the first.
