I never really cared to much to read about Bernie Madoff, but when i read about his daughter-in-law and son who hung himself, i heard of this book. I decided i'd see what the other half of his family had to say. From page 1 my fingers were flipping pages, i could not stop. This is a mesmerizing read. I truely feel for Stephanie Madoff (now Mack) and the sons Mark, now deceased,& Andy. The boys grew up in the most dysfunctional family and no one knew who or what was real. Their mother is just as bad as the father as far as pretending. How hard it would be to realize you never knew who your parents really were. Your father in Prison and your mother still acting would be enough to push the strongest person over the edge. It seems to me--to be rich has taken it's tole on many people if you were associated with this family.
