I found this book to be good for the times when you didn't have a lot of time to read. It is broke up very well and includes a lot of interesting facts about stuff you would never know without reading it.

Pam Anderson, The Incredible Hulk, The Brady Bunch, H.R. Puffenstuff, Farrah Fawcett...what do these all have in common? We're embarrassed to admit we like them, but we like them, or at least have a morbid curiosity about them. This is a listing of all of our guilty pleasures, be it food, celebrity, or pop culture. I admit that I nodded in chagrined agreement about some of them ("Seen on T.V. Products," for example, 'cause I really want one of those GT Express 101 cooker thingies), and others I thought, "Geez louise, WHO likes that crap?" ("Hustler" magazine...ewww.)

Since it's in encyclopedia form, it's easy to pick this up and put it down. It's a good bathroom read. Hey, that's a new guilty pleasure: reading on the potty!

I'll admit that I looked through the book to see if any of my guilty pleasures were in there ("Full House" reruns, Twinkies, Hallmark channel movies, etc.). Some were, which made me happy, and some weren't, which made me say, "Oh, man, I'm worse than I thought if my guilty pleasure is just LAME and not a guilty pleasure at all."
