Mollie Katzen writes some of the most interesting recipes I have ever seen, but they are absolutely delicious. This cookbook features recipes with very unusual ingredient combinations that taste unlike anything else I have ever tried; they are all winners if you give them a chance. This cookbook is a keeper - I adore it!

This is like Molly Katzen's Moosewood cookbook, each recipe has it's own illustration. She provides variations for each recipe. Her recipes are unique and delicious. I have really enjoyed this cookbook and highly recommend it for anyone, even if you aren't a vegetarian (all of the recipes in here are vegetarian recipes).

I have used this cookbook for years and my college bound daughter asked for it to take with her. I got her a copy instead.
