Great information on how one enables dependency of alcoholics, children, depressed people, etc. I frequently shared my copies with my therapy clients.

Co-dependency can and does exist even in families where there is no substance abuse present. Enabling is a major part of the co-dependency/dependency cyles in realtionships. Angelyn Miller uses her own family and her own experiences to tell how she came tot he painful realization that she was an enabler.
