Also, the increased complexity of the business environment has the effect that it requires more and more marketing and administrative efforts to move a product from the plant to the final consumer. Wages in furniture manufacturing are relatively low in comparison to most other manufacturing industries. The gap has been widening during most years during the past decade.« less
