This one is kinda weak. First off, if you're going to write about the lost city of El Dorado the least you could do is reserve more than 2 chapters on it. He barely described it. The location was totally unoriginal for the lost city. If you've read the other books in this series, you know the author loves his booby traps, but in this one, there's barely anything. He is concentrating more on the story with Kit than a treasure hunt. He introduces a great villain. Really enjoyed him. AND he brings in a surprise return that I could have done without. Fast paced book, just left me with wanting more on El Dorado. I will still read the next installments just to know how it ends. I feel that this series does need to end soon. He's a great writer, he just needs to start something else.
Good book put I hate a book that you have to wait for the 2nd part to come out. Lots of action but not as much as his other books.
