Another Emma Harte story. I don't remember when I was first introduced to Emma Harte, but I fell in love with her and her family. Her granddaughter is featured in this one. In this book, as the past unfolds, so does an extraordinary tale of money, power, passion, revenge, survival and triumph.

read this one first! I loved it, and how tight the families were was a great story line. In this book Bradford puts a family tree of the Harte Clan which comes in very handy no matter which one of the books you're reading.

I've enjoyed this series so far, but this book felt like a big review of the first 3 books. You finally get all the details of the big secret at the very, very end. This book was good, but just felt very long and drawn out.
