these type of books are a guilty pleasure of mine and this one was very good. having spent some time in the ER as a nurse and a patient, all of the essays ring true.you will laugh you will cry and at times you will not believe what you just read.AHHH humans,always a surprise

A great collection of stories from various ER doctors! Some of them made me laugh, some made me gasp in shock, and others made me cry. A good book for someone interested in medicine.
Loved this book! It basically tells you stories of things that have happened in the emergency room from the doctors point of view. Some are very sad and some are just unbelieveable. This book reads fast!
