I agree with the other reviewer. Creepy book. It started off fine with a heroine who had a interesting background and complicated life. But it went downhill fast - I stopped reading after a guy beats up the heroine and she orgasms while her rapes her. Big no.

A female FBI agent TSTL falls for a vampire. The sex comes early and often, menage a quatre (?), rape by jealous ex - good grief. Then the plot gets very dense with conspiracy/animal rights arguments. The writing really confuses the personal attraction by throwing in 3 paragraphs of interior back story before the individual responds to something like "are those flowers from your boyfriend?"
This book makes me wonder just how difficult it is to get published.
